At SportHawk, we are committed to your privacy and data protection. This page provides instructions on how to request the deletion of your account and associated data.
How to Request Account Deletion
To permanently delete your SportHawk account, please follow these steps:
Open the SportHawk application on your device.
Navigate to your Profile tab.
Select Settings, then go to Manage Account.
Tap on the "Delete Account" option.
You will be asked to confirm your decision. Please follow the on-screen prompts to finalise the deletion.
If you are unable to access the app, you can email your deletion request to support@sporthawkapp.com from the email address associated with your account.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
When you request to delete your account, we will permanently remove your personal and identifiable information from our systems.
Data that will be permanently deleted:
Your user profile, including your name, email address, and phone number.
Your password and login credentials.
Any photos, videos, or media you have personally uploaded.
Your direct chat messages with other users.
Your links to any children's profiles you manage.
Your personal availability history and attendance records.
Data that will be retained:
To maintain the historical integrity of team and club records, some non-personally identifiable or essential administrative data will be retained in an anonymised form. This includes:
Anonymised attendance records (e.g., "a player was present" but with no link back to your personal identity).
Messages sent by you within a team group chat will remain visible to other members of that group, but will be attributed to an "Anonymous User".
Financial records of payments made to your club, which the club is legally required to maintain for accounting purposes. These records will be disassociated from your personal profile.
There is no additional retention period for your personal data. The deletion process will begin immediately upon your confirmation and will be completed from our production systems within 30 days.
